On Valentines Day, I set up a sort of torture test. I made a Valentine box, you know, like the ones we used to make in elementary school to place on our desks and collect Valentines?
Spurious! / Dibs
In the spirit of products that rely on the ignorance of the very people they are being marketed to, Shara Rosko and I produced an intervention piece wherein we placed gold seals marked ‘Spurious!’ on various products for sale in stores, artworks in galleries, and privately-owned objects.
